it sounds he didnt really get to enjoy that big pay day of 20 million. some one robbed his home and got him for 6 million in bling, and he owes back taxes as well of 7 million. im glad hes coming back he still has it to go undefeated and go as far as 45-0.

I think having America's biggest fighter back in the mix, even if he's fighting Berto and Hatton instead of Manny and Cotto, can't be anything but a benefit to the sport.
Pacquiao is the fight that seems to make the most sense...and I still say it will result in a most devastating loss for Manny

PBF is all wrong for Manny but he will be PBF's toughest fight.Manny isn't any easy out for anyone.I still like Manny's chances.
I will have to get a good buzz on well before the fight because I will be a nervous wreck the whole day.

If PBF is sharp I can see him just timing Manny's lunges perfectly and eventually catching him hard...and Manny can be hurt...But I agree, Pacquiao against anybody is not an easy out...
Would a KO win over Pacquiao take you off the Mayweather Hater's Club or will it just push you underground?

the Mayweather of old would deal with Pacman fairly easily i believe. However, this is a PBF who has been away for 15 months or so. I don't care who you are, even PBF will have ring rust even if he's sparred everyday since he's been away.
Ultimately, i agree it is good for the sport. I consider him to be up there but not a great. If he fights the likes of Cotto, Mosley, Pacman, etc, he will have a new found respect from me, and i imagine, many others.

Manny has no chance against PBF. Just compare their sizes. Pacs win over Oscar doesnt make him a top dog at welterweight cos he'd get knocked out by the top boys of the division. But its the most financially rewarding fight for Floyd so i ges he gona take this one. I know to everyone else its gona be like yet another masterful performance from Floyd after he knocks out Pac, but come on really Pac beating Floyd what are the chances, 0.
So i wouldnt say PBF return is good for everyone. Im still dying to see him against Cotto or maybe Mosley.

PBF lost 6 Million dollars worth of his bling? Now that breaks my little freakin heart. "Po Boy Floyd", give me a break. The only reason I've watched any of his fights is hopefully to see somebody lay his smug butt out flat on the canvas.
Good for boxing? I'll bet there are many with a very different opinion.

You too? I have dreams frequently during the days up to a fight that I'm excited about where my fighter loses or I miss the event and they're horrible. I end up waking up feeling like I got no sleep!
I made a rule up in my head a long time ago that said "never bet against Floyd," it goes along with "I'll believe he can be beaten when I see him beaten..."
But I love Pacman, so I root for him. Might as well go down with the ship. I respect Floyd, but I love the Pacman.

Personal feelings aside, anybody who puts asses in seats is good for boxing...and there is no other active fighter who can draw as much attention as Mayweather right now...

Very true, because most want to see him get beaten including me but Pac has no chance. Like i said before if Pac can get stunned by JMM imagine what a Cotto, Mosley or PBF power punch would do to him. I have no desire to see this fight. Pac is so open to counter punches PBF is gona make a punching bag out of him. And he dare not step into the ring with Cotto or Mosley that would be disastrous for him.

You think Floyd's been keeping up his workout regimen since he announced his "retirement" knowing that he'll come back sooner or later? I figure it'd also fool his opponent into a bit of complacency, thinking that Floyd would need to get into the swing of working out again.
